Hey Pastor Mike,

Just came back from Jaco and loved it (June 15th 2011). Just wanted to ask about Dengue fever and Jaco. Are there alot of cases in Jaco. I got bit a few mosquitoes while I was there and just wanted to see if I should be on the lookout.

Greetings Costa Rica family in Christ,

Our precious Lord directed me to your church website the other day when I was researching churches in Jaco. I live and fellowship in Grass Valley, CA. Your beautiful coastal town was brought to my attention through a program I saw on TV, which sparked my curiosity about your area. Because I’m a follower of Jesus Christ, I was just wondering what God is up to there, so that is how I came across your church web site.

Your Gifts of the Spirit series caught my attention, and I’ve just begun listening to them. I understand the reason most pastors have steered clear from teaching on this subject, but I also believe, as you so honestly stated, that it’s a biblical truth and teaching that the church must study and practice, so to become mature and equipped for service. I’m sure I’m amongst many, who are hungering and thirsting for more guidance and wisdom concerning the gifts of the spirit.

Thank you for this series and I look forward, with anticipation, to listening and growing through the teaching.

My prayers are with you as you serve our Lord together in a more tight knit body.
